Queen of Sweden Rose
Queen of Sweden is one of David Austin’s most elegant and refined English roses, celebrated for its upright habit, soft pastel tones, and delicately cupped blooms. Flowers open in a charming apricot-pink and gradually soften into a clean blush or pale pink, giving the plant a graceful, polished look throughout the season.
Each bloom is perfectly formed, with layers of neat petals arranged in a shallow cup. The blooms face upward and sit neatly on strong, straight stems—making Queen of Sweden an excellent choice for bouquets as well as the garden.
Fragrance is light and fresh, with gentle myrrh notes that complement its sophisticated appearance. This is a tidy, vertical grower that fits beautifully into narrow garden spaces, pathways, and formal beds. It is also highly disease resistant and performs reliably in a wide range of U.S. climates.

I bought this rose four years ago and it’s my best producer. The cuttings last for at least one to two weeks. I’ve had no issues with diseases and the maintenance is minimal. I would 100% recommend this rose to anyone.

I was afraid that the roses would not look good as they were to be delivered Friday and here it is the next Tuesday. There are still leaves and buds and the green sticks still look moist.
